The C-PTPA utilizes the
Federal Excess Personal Property System to acquire military trucks that are
converted into fire engines.
The water hauling capacity depends on the tank that is installed on the truck.
It varies from 700 to 1,200 gallons.
The picture on the left is what the truck looks like when we recieve it and
on the right is the finished product.
The end result is a turbo charged six-wheel drive engine that saves taxpayer'
s money.
