The C-PTPA owns two airplanes, a Cessna 185 (pictured above), and a Piper Super Cub (pictured below).
These airplanes are used for fire detection and transportation of crews and other goods.
During the fire season, a patrol is flown everyday, if not twice daily as deemed necessary.
They are a valued tool in detection of and navigation to fires.

The C-PTPA contracts a Bell 206 helicopter from July 1 - September 15.
This allows for access to remote locations and provides another water source using a bucket to drop water on fires.
